Image details: Single 1/4 second exposure at ISO 400, Canon 450D Taken 45 minutes before sunrise on 24 October 2022 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, this is the last morning view of the moon before it is to pass partially in front of the sun approximately 24 hours later, on 25 October 2022 (although the eclipse itself will not be visible from Toronto). The moon at this time was also just over 3 hours away from passing in front of Mercury, which itself is visible in this shot just about 1.5 degrees below the waning crescent moon.
