Details:
Twice a year, if the sky is clear in early October and March, the setting Sun, when observed from my viewpoint on Murambi Heights, appears to roll down the southern flank of Murahwa Mountain. Yesterday (3rd October) a cloudless but smoke-hazed sky provided uninterrupted views of a Murahwa Mountain ‘rolling’ sunset with sunspot groups AR 3112 & 3114 visible on a close-up video frame captured when the Sun was behind a rocky promontory halfway down the slope. Cameras: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMCT-Z60 and ZS40 in sunset mode.
