Transition Explanation: The Transition between the night and the first light of dawn is a moment that I never want to come because it means the end of a photographic night, but it gave me the opportunity to capture part of the night and part of the daylight. Starting the photographic shots from left to right, first shot at 6.16 am and last shot at 6.41 am, starting with the Orion area where it was darkest, I finished the panoramic view over Magellan and rescuing some stars, the milky way of summer already very low on the horizon could not be seen. I used 10 vertical photos in total, those of the sky at f 3.2 exposure 219 seconds per shot, iso 1250 focal 19 mm and those of the ground at f 3.5 exposure 20 seconds iso 2000 and same focal length all from the same place and tripod position. I had finished the previous session and I didn't want to leave without another photo of the place, so I ran a few steps and found this clearing, I aligned the tracker as best I could between the Magellanic clouds and to my surprise the stars came out without a trace, so the good luck this time with me! The Orion constellation is visible in the southern hemisphere at this time from 3 am but it is better to photograph it between 5 and 6 am, which is when it is highest and does not interfere with the luminance and clarity of the horizon. In this shot, Barnard's loop is seen surrounding Orion. Barnard's Loop is an emission nebula. It is part of the Orion Cloud Molecular Complex, which also contains the Horsehead Nebula and the Orion Nebula. The loop takes the form of a large arc roughly centered on the Orion Nebula. The stars in the Orion Nebula are believed to be responsible for the ionization of the loop. The loop extends over about 600 arcminutes as seen from Earth, covering much of Orion.
