Labor Day weekend 2022…has officially been nominated for doubling as the solar storm that just keeps on giving 🤩🔥 Well over 24 hours straight of very active G2 (strong) solar storms, bringing with it some of the most intensely beautiful and incredible auroras with it! After a fun night hike to one of the most beautiful overlooks along the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, we just waited and took in those epic views and night skies. Even through the moonlight, we could definitely see a glow on the horizon, with our naked eye. We crossed our fingers that it would erupt into dancing pillars soon. And just like that…BOOM! Seemingly out of nowhere and right before our eyes…incredible dancing light and pillars, shooting high and wide as our eyes could see! Absolutely incredible!!
