Discovered twenty-six days before of this image when it was at magnitude 18, but about five days ago some photographic observations began to be reported showing a wide coma and a brightness much greater than indicated by the ephemeris. In this image with almost an hour of exposure the measurement of its total brightness gives a magnitude of 10.8, showing a green coma very faint with 6' in angular size with degree of condensation of 2, and a starlike central condensation. Its maximum will be at the end of September when could reach magnitude 10.
