Details:
I've stacked all final processed images (40 images, all stacks of about 1000 individual frames) from the 1.2 hour long session, in order to reveal the intricate and otherwise invisible magnetic field lines on which the hot plasma moved rather fast above the active region. In this way, some giant field lines are detected.
First image is the 40-image stack, the second shot is a highly processed version in order to show the fainter "plasma lines", while the third is an inverted view of the second image to better view the farthest "plasma clouds".
From what I know, this is the first time someone did such an image experiment.
An animation and a separate image are also included here.
