Setting up for a night of astrophotography was surprise to see (in photos only) Aurora borealis in Athen PA near the New York border. We could not see visual the display although at one point we did see some “clouds” were faintly crossing the sky which might have been the aurora. Uploaded a video of the still frames you can really see the display. Very glad to have captured the event. Nikon D7000 Nikon 10mm Lens ASA 3000 25" second exposures We did check Spaceweather next morning and saw the report of a chance of Aurora on the 28th.
