Details:
Comet C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) imaged on July 24, 2022, with a brightness at magnitude 7.9, its coma maintains 5' of angular size with a strong central condensation. Its dust tail extends half a degree in length toward north-northeast while the ion tail is barely visible to the east (in the monochrome version).
