Details:
An aurora curtain quietly promenades above Anchorage, Alaska on August 18, 2022 at 1:37 am. It was KP 1 with positive Bz so I felt fortunate to have seen anything at all, especially considering my wife's flower pots were still dripping wet after receiving a half-inch of rain. It came as a relief to see the night skies open up long enough to see my first aurora dance of the season.
