Just by lucky chance, I started imaging the sun today in h-alpha right during an M2 solar flare on sunspot AR3078. The flare had burped out an active filament too. I re-imaged the same spot 23 minutes later, and the flare had died down and the active filament was gone too. 127mm f/9.4 refractor, Daystar Quark Chromosphere filter, ZWO ASI174mm camera.
