Details:
I imaged the moon Ganymede Transit of Jupiter on the morning of 08-16-22 from my observitory in Manorville, NY. My imaging setup was a ZWO ASI224 MC camera with a UV/IR cut filter and a ZWO (ADC) 1.25" Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector adapter in a Baader Planetarium Carl Zeiss 2x Barlow Lens all in a MoonLite focuser. My telescope was an Edge HD 14'' OTA on a AP1600GTO mount. The seeing was between a 3/5 to 4/5. This was a morning I will remember for a very long time. As I was looking at my laptop motitor in live recording mode, It was a reminder to me Earth is hurlling through space on an orbital path at the same time I am imaging another planet hurlling through space on its orbital path. Kind Reagards To ALL 🙂
