Details:
Top image on August 6 just after the outburst was reported to begin on August 2/3 and the lower image was captured on August 14th. Comet 285P/Linear's outburst increased the brightness of the comet by 5-6 magnitudes. Comet 285P/Linear appears like a miniature version of Comet 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann with a bright outburst and then an enlarging coma. Images captured with iTelescope T19.
