Details:
Today, Sunday July 10, very close to noon, despite the enormous turbulence in the atmosphere of this southern winter, I managed to capture this image of the solar disk in H-alpha. Although I had to force the processing a bit, the end result shows a beautiful solar landscape, with a disk full of activity. Several active regions can be seen containing sunspots, huge filaments crossing the sun's surface, and several prominences on the limb. To take this picture I used a Coronado SolarMax II 90mm aperture single stack telescope and a ZWO 183MM camera.
