Details:
I thought I’d try to image our close encounter with this fast-moving rock a day earlier than its closest approach, before it reached its full “zipping by” speed relative to our planet Earth. Even then, guiding on the stars did not reveal the faint trace of this fast-moving NEO as it didn’t stay in one place long enough for my camera to record its presence, too few photons in too short a time. So, I locked the telescope onto 2022 NR as it tracked across the Brisbane skies in the constellation of Serpens Caput, to record it as a stationary dot against the background star trails. Cheers Dennis
