Details:
Lingering stratospheric aerosols from January`s eruptions of Tonga continue to visit us frequently, exuberantly adorning our twilight skies with vivid exotic colors. The bright yellow arch (second photo), the unusual color patterns (first photo), often exhibiting stratification (third photo with enhanced contrast) in addition to the residual reddish glow (captured an amazing 52 minutes after sunset - last photo) hint us both at the very high altitude of the plume and its volcanic nature. The photos were taken with an Asus Max Pro Zenfone (cell phone) camera in auto mode at: 17:41, 17:40, 17:44 and 18:13, respectively. Sunset had occurred at 17:22. All instants are expressed in local time (UTC-3h).
