Details:
The comet passed between the sparse but pretty open cluster IC 4665 and orangish mag 2.8 beta Oph (Cebalrai) two weeks ago; reports had it at about mag 9 then. I viewed it visually this past weekend in a small scope and would estimate its current brightness somewhere between mag 8 and 8.5, so it is definitely getting brighter.
