Details:
Here is a capture of the sun in white light from this afternoon a little after 4:00 PM EDT. Captured using an Intane Optical 60mm triplet APO with white light solar filter built in and a Player One Apollo M Max with a Meade 2x barlow. I had the exposure a little too high, but this should assist in plotting sunspots.
