Details:
Above the troposhere (photo taken from 45,000ft). Streak extended vertically in a straight line and disolved with this round top appearing and lowering and disappearing as we passed the south of Illinois eastbound.
Other than the central white streak are windshield reflections of interior airplane lighting.
