Here is a photo of the Sun taken with an H-alpha filter. The photo shows 4 active regions (AR13011-13014-13015-13017) and multiple flares.
Setup used: apo refractor 130/910, D-ERF filter, Daystar Quark Chromosphere and monochrome camera (the color has been added in post production).
