Details:
I caught the tail end of this morning's M-class flare. Fujifilm X-T3 connected to a T-adapter, eyepiece projection through a Celestron 26mm plossl, ISO 1000 and 1/30 second exposure. Photographed through a Televue 85 apochromatic refracting telescope (600mm focal length) with a Lunt 60mm hydrogen-alpha etalon and BF-1200 blocking filter. Edits in Lightroom, Color Efex, Photoshop (layers to properly merge the exposures of the solar disk and the prominences around the edge) and Topaz Studio for their excellent Details panel. This is my most successful attempt at a photo like this to date.
