Here are the four tests in my last post id=184553 re-run but with a larger GIF image size of 1080 x 810 pixels to see if the problem persists in the first image (GIF 5) which is the larger version of GIF 1 in the last test. If it does, then the method of processing may be to blame. If not, then it must have something to do with image dimension or file size.
