Details:
Sadly the last four mornings have been overcast and wet here in Pottsville, so I missed the close conjunction between Venus and Jupiter :( However, tonight it seems that Mother Nature was making up for it with another colourful volcanic sunset. The stratospheric aerosols from the eruption of Hunga Tonga have been hanging around for months! Interestingly, while the colours are still quite vivid, they are not lasting as long as previously - perhaps because as the days become shorter here, so too does the twilight.
Photos taken with my iPhone between 5.35pm and 5.39pm AEST.
