Having finally located Mercury from the garden on Monday25th, I went back to some images I took on Friday 22nd when I hadn't found the elusive planet! Now knowing where to look, Bingo! I found it! Here it is after a bit of processing to bring it out. I quite like this one as it is nicely framed above the houses on the horizon, and there is also quite a nice "Belt of Venus" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belt_of_Venus#:~:text=The%20Belt%20of%20Venus%20(also,20%C2%B0%20above%20the%20horizon.) too.
