Details:
By tuning to different wavelengths; we can eliminate certain aspects of the solar chromosphere to examine specific details. In this example; eliminating the bright glare of extremely dense concentration of ions burning at 10000k- we can subtrack a few thousand kelvin from the froth which reveals little tiny strucures that resemble crystals. Of course; this is relative on perspective from things known on earth. These solar features are equivealent to earth states and continents; in a geographical sense.
