Details:
Faint greenish-gray glow over the north horizon seen by naked eye after 0100 EDT (0600 UT) on 10th April; a phone was able to capture the green spires directly overhead for the first time this solar cycle, visible from this location above 46N lat at 0130 local time in the posted image, despite the night sky brightened by the first-quarter gibbous moonlight. Faint reds showed in a few images, then the aurora subsided but continued to dance above the trees for over an hour thereafter as the moon began to set to the west.
