Details:
Setting to the Western horizon the bright star Sirius performed strong scintillation. Its rays shined nearly horizontally through Earth's atmosphere since its elevation still was 4 degrees. Brightness as well as colours were oscillating vividly. The image has an exposure time of 3 seconds while I moved the camera slowly in a vertical direction. So brightness and colour variations had been recorded in a timeline. The second image shows nocturnal sky blue and daylike landscape illumination by moonlite, becoming visible if you take the exposure time long enough.
