Surprise G3 geomagnetic storm! Although personally it seemed more like a G2. I was able to detect the northern lights last night, despite hazy clouds. You can see the green glow through the gap, and the purple coloration above is probably due to the red top part of the aurora shining through the clouds. To the naked eye only a dim grayish light was visible through the gap in the clouds. Not a whole lot to see yet from my middle latitude, but here's to the increasing young SC25!
