Details:
On Sunday evening (April 3rd) the still young 5% illuminated Waxing Crescent Moon was photographed descending alongside a receding volcanic sunset twilight arch with magnificent radiating crepuscular rays between 6.00 & 6.10 pm as shown in the accompanying images and x40 speed video frame time-lapse animation. Volcanic sunrises and sunsets produced by stratospheric aerosols from the Hunga-Tonga eruption on 15th January continue to be observed almost daily from Zimbabwe and other countries in Southern Africa. Cameras: 2 x Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
