Details:
Flight NZ1914 on board a Boeing 787-9 dreamliner @ 41000 feet. The Aurora on more than one occasion surrounded the whole plane in a beautiful ghostly spectacle! Stayed within the Auroral zone for over 5 hours and crossed the date line 6 times. Shot with a EOS60D (bulb mode), Rokinon 14mm, f2.8 lens, ISO 5000, colour temp: 3900k, exp time: 4-6 secs, center weighted average, fat gecko suction mount to window, remote shutter release.
