Details:
The view of a "smoke-filtered" Sun this afternoon from Stornoway, caused by a moor fire West of town.
All the sunspots were easily visible without any particular filter, here pictured with a telelens.
Remember, however, to always use filters when observing our star, to avoid permanent damage to your eyes!
