Details:
Like yesterday, today's sunset sky was vividly coloured, courtesy of returning volcanic aerosols. Interestingly, today's predawn sky lacked the same bright twilight arch and vivid colours as these evening skies. I would be interested to know from observers elsewhere in the southern hemisphere if they have noticed the same disparity between dawn and dusk colours. I have posted several photos taken in quick succession to show how rapidly the colours change. The photos continue in my next post. All photos taken with my iPhone between 7.14pm and 7.20pm (AEDT).
