first thing i want to say is thanks to NOELEEN LOWNDES of australia on spaceweather for answering my e-mail on questions i had about slr H-alfa shooting of the sun and how she goes to the computer etc bigtime for the final shot. (something i didnt do much) shooting sun flares with a slr in H-alfa is difficult but after some time i figured it out, shoot in monochrome!! (if your camera has this setting) the H-alfa doesnt mess with the sensors in the slr (thanks to the article on lunt website) it was really easy... with the computer adjust color etc if changes wanted. so it can be done! shot in H-alfa with SLR & lunt 50.. cannon gx7 mark II.. asa 200.. shutter 400
