Details:
For 5 minutes starting at 112am AST the auroras actually illuminated the ground around us northeast of Fairbanks.They filled the sky in areas that we never see them under regular display conditions. This was completely unforecasted and unexpected surprising our group of 14. Since I began leading tours to Alaska in 2012 this was by the strongest and most spectaular episode of Northern Lights that I have seen
