Details:
Right place. Right time. Even though Humpback whales were numerous in all directions off the coast of Maui, to photograph a surfacing whale's spout within the Sun's disk (half a degree wide) at the same time a green flash is occurring is incredible. When I clicked on the shutter, I was already glad I captured a green flash, but upon review I realized I also got the whale's spout on the horizon.
