Details:
An unusually clear sky on Tuesday morning provided a clear view of the 3% illuminated Waning Crescent Moon in conjunction with Saturn and Mercury rising above the horizon in Cecil Kop Nature Reserve as shown in the accompanying images taken between 5.05 and 5.29 am. Owing to rapidly brightening volcanic aerosol sunrise glow the trio were only visible for 20 minutes before fading into it. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in night scenery and sunset modes.
