Details:
The geomagnetic unrest ending up in a full G1 storm started early here in Alberta on February 21 2022. The lights were out shortly after 7pm. The sky was filled to the north and stretching from east to west with pillars and small curtains. At one point something caught my eye at the west end of the structure, an isolated pillar which was stretching also high and above the Aurora curtain. Immediately I pointed both cameras in that direction and the photos reveal an isolated red arc quite separated from the main show and I am suspecting, it is an early development of a SAR ARC. Looks like the spring is getting closer and it is time to witness the SAR ARC more often along with future geomagnetic storms.
