Unusual perpendicular solar tendril on the limb

Details:
IF you look carefully in this image, you will see a fishing string like tether of plasma floating above the solar limb.
It is very thin, and has a very unusual curve to it. This is a very odd feature!
Normally these are field lines of magnetism at this wavelength, but i suspect this tendril to be something quite different. It does not match up with the other rays polarity seen exiting the limb.
It is perpendicular to the rest of the field.
