Details:
For a while in the early morning hours of February 12 it was like witnessing a competition between the Moon and some brilliant Aurorae. As they encircled the Moon they got brighter and brighter with some small spots seeming to try to outdo the Moon itself. The spectacle was enjoyed by myself and other guests aboardd the Viking Venus en route to Alta. It was a real case of "Being torn between the Moon and Emerald City".
