Details:
Asteroid (7482) 1994 PC1 had a close pass of the Earth today and I managed to catch it just after 6:00pm EST. The asteroid got as close as 2m km and it's rate of motion across the sky was about 2 degrees per minute. The asteroid was moving quickly! I had a clear view of the southern sky, with the astroid was in Pisces when I picked it up. The full moon had very little impact in imaging it as the asteroid shone at about 10th magnitude. I was fortunate to get it, as soon after the clouds started rolling in from the west.
