Details:
Venus about 36 hours before the lower conjunction at 5.2 degrees from the Sun. Clear sky, but turbulent air, normal for the low position of 25 degrees above the horizon (and above the roofs of the neighboring houses). The high contrast image shows (besides the ugly dust spots) that the horns overlap almost 270 degrees. With binoculars Venus was an easy object, beautiful with its crescent shape.
