Details:
It´s a incredible view: these days, Venus looks like an ultrathin arc of ligh, against the blue sky. But also it´s getting too close to the Sun. This image (the result of stacking some 300 video frames) was taken with my SCT 12" telescope and a planetary camera at 14:15 local time in Argentina, when the 0,7% illuminated planet was less than 7 degrees to the east of our star. It´s dangerous if you don´t take care. The Sun must be totally blocked (by a wall) while observing.
