Details:
Venus is approaching the inferior conjunction with the Sun. The apparent diameter is now above 1 arc minute and the phase is very thin. It is very suggestive to see it even with a small binoculars. This image has been taken with a near infrared filter in order to darken the sky just after the sunset. Venus was only 14.5 degrees from the Sun. I used a 235 mm Schmidt Cassegrain telescope and ASI 224MC camera.
