Details:
I found the location of the James Webb Space Telescope in my planetarium app, and with access to a remote telescope where there are clear skies (in San Pero de Atacama, Chile) I took a sequence of 12 images in an attempt to capture the new space telescope in motion through the sky. The images we captured overnight between midnight and sunrise, just after JWST had passed the orbit of the moon and deployed the sunshield pallets. I'm sure the brightness of JWST will vary with distance and reflectivity as it changes over the coming weeks.
