Details:
Comet Leonard on Christmas night shows a large ion tail shaped like a Christmas tree! It is an easy target with the naked eye, and it shows the beautiful tail even with a simple 10X50 binoculars. It is for sure the most dynamic comet that I ever observed. This image has been taken with a 130 mm Newtonian telescope and an ASI 2600MC camera.
