5:31 pm CST, Saturday, December 18, 2021. Looking southwest at three planets from Marion, Iowa. Top-to bottom: -2.19 magnitude Jupiter, 0.71 magnitude Saturn, -4.60 magnitude Venus. Image is a product of a failed attempt to capture Comet Leonard (located below and left of Venus). 3 second exposure at f/8, ISO 320, 18mm focal length. Nikon D7200 DSLR. Air temperature was 26 degrees F.
