It was mostly clear, although hazy with dew until about 3am UT, which is pretty good for Ireland in winter, so not complaining! The regular camera (and everything else) was covered in dew so was hard to take photos with the wide angle lens (which has no hood) but when I worked out that it would be better to use the 50mm f1.4 which does have a deep hood, I picked up lots of faint meteors between 2 and 3am UT, 48 in all. That works out as a very high ZHR which could only be the peak I think. The uploaded images is from the dedicated meteor camera which caught 81 Geminids, with the highest rate between 2 and 3am UT when the haze got very thick. I reckon ZHR was about 140 between then
