Went out early during the evening of November 28th due to very promising data, even if here in Canada we missed the impact of the weak CME. The Aurora showed up as data suggested, noting exciting in particular as show development. The show died and by 10:30 pm I packed my gear and left location. Now looking over the pictures I realized that beside the Aurora I got also a lovely fireball. That evening there were quite a few of them crossing the sky. At first, I taught that the fireball is an early one, part of the Geminids Meteor Shower. Later on, reports were pouring in; underline the unexpected outburst of Andromedid Meteor Shower on November 28th. Looks like the fireball could be part of this unexpected and enigmatic Meteor Shower. Regardless one or the other was a beautiful appearance during a rare clear sky, lately.
