Details:
We had coastal fog so went inland to get around the edge of it and gain altitude. We stopped near the Santa Ynez Airport and set up the camera. A minute or two later the western sky lit up and a moment later the rocket climbed into view. A minute later it disappeared behind high clouds, and around then the deep rumble of the launch arrived. Spectacular!
