Comet 52P/Harrington-Abell is magnitude 17 in these images and is 185 million miles from Earth. The comet will stay at about magnitude 17 for the next several months. It was at perihelion in it's 7.6 year orbit this past October. As usual, click the large image to get a better resolution image.
