Details:
I awoke at 3:00AM to rapidly moving clouds in the night sky. While eagerly awaiting a spectacular show, I set up my equipment, and was not disappointed! I photographed the Beaver Moon partial lunar eclipse from 3:28AM-6:04AM, watching the moon pass from the umbra to the penumbra; from max. color to a nearly clear lunar surface. It was an amazing experience! Details: Canon EOS Rebel T5i camera, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 lense set at 400mm, f/5.6, 0"8s exposure and ISO 400 for max. eclipse, and 1/320s exposure and ISO 100 for penumbra, automatic focus, remote shutter release, GITZO tripod.
